Our first time out after both getting kayaks, Tim and I each ended up pinned against a bank covered with poison ivy where someone had just spotted a snake — and sometime during our expedition we were each baptized. I think you did great – and such a lovely gift for your girls!

As I read your post, the same sickening feeling came over me as I felt when I stood in the rooms of Auschwitz in 1997. I saw the piles and piles of hair the Germans cut off the prisoners’ heads to make things out of and the gold teeth they took from their victims’ mouths before they gased them.There has never been anything I have ever seen to haunt me so much. An evil too profound to grasp and built upon utter hatred for God and man in the name of insane theology.
Hard to think of this but the same evil(nature)existed in us when we were DEAD in trespases and sins but God, being rich in mercy, made us alive together with Christ. It is not our own doing.Romans 2 parapharsed. 2 Cor.9:15:”Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift.”(ESV)
